Coins

Coins are the standard currency in Pixel People, while utopium is the deluxe (or purchasable) currency.

How to Earn Coins[]

  • Working Clones

The main source of Coins are from sending your clones to work in buildings where they earn you coins rated in coins per second. Professions spliced in the Arrival Center create clones that you assign to buildings where they combine their productivity to increase the buildings profitability.

Building the Bank will double the coin output of all buildings that are fully occupied.


Enterprise

Similarly you can purchase another permanent productivity double in the Enterprise building for a one time real cash.



  • Trees

100 or 1000 Coins can be earned from Trees by tapping the green icons that hover over them. When the Utopium Leak event is active these amounts are doubled. 

  • Casino
Casino

Once every four hours you have the ability to spin at the casino with a guaranteed win every time. You will have to pay some amount of coins depending on your level. The maximum bet is 2 million with a win of at least 3 million.

  • Missions

The following missions can be completed to earn coins:

  • Friends

When collecting the daily gift from your friends you have a random chance to receive coins.

  • Shop

Players can also convert utopium into coins via the exchange button (plus sign) at the top left of the screen or in the Town Hall. The amount of coins gained from conversion is based on level.

  • Hearts Surprise
Special Delivery with Love

When the hearts bar is full, the surprise can be an amount of coins varying from 100.000 to 500.000

  • Farm

You can collect hearts at the farm and use the bumper season button to get 2x coins for 5 mins for one heart.

Coin Uses[]

  • Level Up

Coins are most commonly used to level up. Land costs stop scaling after level 27 (300 mil). After that, with a 50% discount, you will pay either 150 mil, or 149.9 mil. If you have activated the Funfair event, you'll get a 60% discount and you will pay either 120 mil, or 119.9 mil. Here are the expansion costs WITHOUT discount:

Coins can be used to play at the arcade. Depending on the level with a max of 10 million coins you can win Utopium, Decor or Animals.

  • Over Logging Event
Over Logging Small Icon

While other events are triggered using stockpiled Hearts, the Over Logging event can only be activated using coins. Depending on level the maximum cost is 75 million.

  • Landscaping

Decor, Residential houses, roads and Terrain can be purchased for coins.
